iSpot
Observations of fauna and flora on the farm are recorded on the iSpot database. Ground orchids, bulbs and trees are amongst the vast number of plants that can be seen. We present hikes and outings to interested persons from time to time.Wildlife cameras
Several cameras are installed around the farm for the purpose of recording the movement of wildlife. The most significant obeservation this far was of a Cape leopard, possibly a young male. Other large mammals like bushbuck, bush pig, baboon and porqupine are often recored.Contact us for a guided tour
Farm produce
Apiary
There are several apiary plots on the farm where the bees mostly use indigenous fynbos veld to produce honey. The taste of the honey changes with the availability of flowers and the seasons, as it should. The honey is filtered and bottled.Crystal formation (sandsuiker) is the sign of pure raw honey. This is what you want. Use as regular honey or as a wonderful spread on freshly baked bread.
Vegetables
There a several vegetable plots on the farm. Companion planting, banana circles, drip irrigation and composting forms a certral part of our gardening techiques. We use chipped alien plants like black wattle (Acasia mearsii) as mulch to reduce water evaporation and suppress weed seed germination.Orchards
We have several fruiting trees but are planning to plant many more fruit and nut trees. It will be in the food forest style that mimics the natural progression of plants from clear land to mature multi layer forest.Contact us for seasonal availablility
Kennels and cattery
Three dogs live on the farm. Two of them were rescue animals that have responded well to good care and attention. They get along great with others and receive regular visits from other dogs. They are mixed breed medium sized and castrated.All vaccinations are up to date and they are on tick/flea tablets
We receive animals from 15:00-19:00 and collections are from 09:00-11:00.

The kennels accommodate eight large dogs. We recuire the following from owners to ensure a happy stay for their animals:- Food for the duration of the animal's stay
